Drawing the spirit of Rock Music

Hi guys,

I've been moping about in self dissapointment due to my meager pageview count. I've been a member way to long to justify my low pageviews and I was just thinking about what to do to remedy the situation. At the same time, I've been thinking of new directions for inspiration with my art. Lately I've made the aquaintances of several very good graphite artists and alot of their portrait work has inspired me. Call me crazy but in the past it's always just been beautiful women that inspire me to draw but recently my mind has opened up to other prospects and I find myself wanting to draw those heroes of music that help me through life everyday. Without my music I think I'd be pretty lost. Bands like Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Graze, Chevelle, Finger Eleven and the like get me pumped up and always seem to have the right sound for the situation. I think in the near future you guys can expect to see me drawing the guys behind the music. I think this is a pretty convenient inspiration because I'm bound to turn up more often on search engines with this type of art.
But then again... I'd probably get more views if I lose the lazyness and just draw more period. :P
In parting: Thanks for the support you guys! Keep sharing your art with me and I'll continue to do the same!

I know what you mean for the lack of inspiration I need me some Muse to kick my butt. :XD: I don't really care about pageviews though.

Wherever you find some go for it and make it happen! :D

i used to feel the same about pageviews, but the combination of the stress from the situation, and the rocket science system in which pageviews worked began to fade. jus decided to commit meself to havin fun with art the way i did before i joined an online community. i still care about the pv, jus not so much anymore, if ya aint havin fun, fuk it.....i say

Very good point of view brotha. I really appreciate you sharing it. I guess it's not me being crazy about pageviews the way you see the masses here on DA getting. For me, it's more about exposure. If my pageviews aren't going up, I have the feeling that I'm no closer to getting my art out where it needs to be seen. But reflecting back, I blame it on the lack of new stuff I submit and that's mostly because I haven't been dedicating myself to my hobby. You say it best with the "if ya ain't having fun..." Thanks again brotha

Thanks for your words Elysiia! I wouldn't care much about pageviews either if my gallery had traffic through direct links LOL psshhh maybe I'm just crazy. You'll never see me being a pageview whore like what you see in the forums with people offering some kind of reward to viewing their page and crap. But as a measure of how much I'm sharing with the people here, I like to see it move.
